Hello,
How do you clear up your flash and install new IOS when you have an older version of Rommon and don't have tftpdnld?

Hello Alex ,
I would try to boot an IOS image from a tftp server instead of using image on flash.
use a boot system tftp command for this.
So, you can also check if new image can run on your device.
If everything is all right you can delete the flash and copy from the tftp server the same IOS image.
Verify the image on flash, remove the boot system tftp, save config and reload
Otherwise, you can post the IOS image via the console using Z modem but it can take a lot of time.
Hope to help

My gateway is currently in a continuous loop rebooting due to some sort of bus error.
And the only real access I have is Rommon.
I've tried to copy an IOS image over xmodem but the process failed due to lack of flash space.
Is there any hidden command to erase or delete the specific files off your flash or to just completely format it?
