The messages about ASSERTION FAILED are certainly indications of a software problem. It is hard to know if these errors are related to the failure of the ISDN or whether there is some other problem with ISDN. But I would certainly look into a code update to fix the ASSERTION FAILED issue. After running different code then check again to see if ISDN is working better or not.

Hi Rick
thank a lot.
I suspected it to be an IOS bug and have aready
asked our engineers to analyze it and upgrade our IOS is necessary.
I needed to make sure if I looked into right...
thank you very much.
for the ISDN, looks like the ASSERTION FAILURE has been preventing the ISDN to kick in, and it also states that there's a problem with the ISDN telco.we need to do this step vy step, first by resolving the router problem.
Thanks a lot for your help
