Routing between FWSM & MSFC

We are configuring FWSM in a routed mode with a few secure vlans.. besides we require some more vlans on MSFC.

The concern is about routing between the two modules. Ospf will be the routing protocol.

I would appreciate if someone forwards a sample configuration based on the above mentioned solution.

first of all

be aware when u make routed interfaces in MSFC and FWSM because any mistake will lead to bypassing the firewall

so dont make more than one vlan interface SVI as layer three interface from the VALNs assigned to ur FWSM and why u want the routing between the fwsm and the msfs to be ospf u can run ospf on the msfc but route between msfc and fwsm using static route !

if it is must to make ospf just enable ospf on the fwsm with the outsid einterface subnet and inside and in the msfc include the shared vlan between the fwsm and msfc in ur ospf in msfc config

this is nice basic config example

good luck
