Difference is in how much space they take up in the data center rack.
WS-C3750G-24TS-S = 1.5RU
WS-C3750G-24TS-S1U = 1RU

Hi,
In addition to the rack space which is one of the key differences between these models following are additional differences -
1U model draw less power (100W compared to 190W).
1U model ship with 32MB of Flash memory rather than the 16MB of Flash memory in non 1U model.
Also there is a cost difference. Non 1U switches are more costlier.
