Voice IP scheme, Planning

Unanswered Question

Hi,

Need an advice in IP-designing for voice infrastructure, Communications Manager, Unity.

The point of view is a VLAN/IP subnet assignments that must be accomplished.

There are two campuses (the same LAN): the first contains PUB with Unity and voice

gateway. Another - only subscriber. Wish to assign /28 per campus for voice subnet

(I do not include IP Phones in there cause they live in another vlans on the access layer).

Any recommendation or advice due to the abovementioned IP design ?

May be I should change something in my IP planning ?

I have this problem too.

Hi,

Sounds like your on the right track.

I would design 1 voice vlan and 1 data vlan. Route between vlans with intervlan routing.

To give you a more accurate suggestion we would need more information. How many user's per site? topology diagrams? How are the 2 campuses connected to each other?

HTH, Please rate if so

Regards,

Justin
