I want to install Presence for demo purposes but I'm not sure what the required resource allocation for the VM instance is. I have heard I need 1.5MB and 80GB, but 80GB seems a little excessive.

it is excessive, but the image will request the 80gigs. (because of the drives in a real MCS server.

Typically, the installation process will look at three things:
Drive Size
CPU
Memory
So if all those match up or equal to the MCS server, it should install fine on VM
