Hi All,
I have a client wiht the following setup
MD110 -- FXO ports -- 2821 -- IP -- vg224 -- FXS -- Analoge Phone
They are not able tranfer calls or place on hold from the analoge phones using the hookflash button.
Is there anything special that I need to configure on the VG224, which is running h323 or the 2821, which is also running h323, to pass the hookflash signaling to the MD110.
The hookflash for the MD110 is 100ms.
Any ideas would be appreciated
Thanks
Jason

Go through this Cisco VG224 Voice Gateway Configuration Example.

Hy Jason!
We run into the same Problem. I think your anlog phone has a to short hookflash duration.
The default on the vg224 is about 500 ms.
Our analog Phones (Austria) have a Hookflash from 100 ms so the vg224 doesn't recognise the hookflash.
You can play with the "timings hookflash" parameters on the voice-ports.
See this here

If you have some time i will look into the Mails from TAC do give a debug instruction to you on Monday, to solve the Problem and do the right "timings hookflash".

Thanks Floh,
I think i have found the solution, I am waiting on my customer to test and let me know..
I did have the timing of the hookflash set to 100ms, but the step i had forgotten was to allow the DTMF-relay on the dial peers.
Will post for sure when I get confirmation from my customer..
Thanks
Jason

Have a look at this app note on Cisco.Com for configuring hooklfash relay , it might be just what you are trying to do -

I dont realy understand the meaning of the dtmf-relay h245-signal command on the voice dial-peer.
In my case we are using vg224 GWs directly connected to the cucm on the main site.
