WAAS optimization not working however WAFS works fine

I am testing a WAAS infrastructure with couple of WAE-512 (CM and Core) and NM-502 at edge.

WCCP has been properly configured on the routers and WAAS devices. I have also configured WAFS service and this works fine, however other application optimization like (web,VNC) etc doesn't seem to work, I can see the connection but the applied policy is "None".

I have enabled the default policy on the device group.

Is there anything else i am missing

Sunil,

An applied policy of "None" means that the connection is being handled as pass-through (i.e. not optimized).

Can you please share a topology diagram and router configurations?

problem resolved!!!

Yes it was indeed a misconfiguration.

On the core WAE instead of defining the router WAE sub-interface as a default gateway, i had configured the Switch (L3) as default gateway.
