Hi all,

I've searching with no results about the following POST msg error.

Any ideias what to do about it ?

POST: Boot Loader Block NOT LOCKED: Status Failed

This is normal when the boot sector has not

been locked however, it might also be a HW related problem.

Please verify there are no crash messages in the unit and that Boot Loader failure is the only POST message, if that is the case then you can lock the boot sector, using the following procedure:

1. Reload the switch and stop at the boot loader (ROMMON) prompt (give a

power cycle to the switch and press the mode button until the system LED

stops flashing and lights continuously).

2. Issue the "flash_init" command at the ROMMON prompt

3. Issue the "set_bs bs: ro" command at the ROMMON prompt

4. "Reset" or "Boot"
