Can anyone give me some advice on these routes that are in ACTIVE? I've been reading up as much as i can on SIA. The links are all 100M Ethernet through my ISP and the CPU's are barely doing any work.

are you getting the routes stuck in Active from the same EIGRP nei?
might be a connectivity problem between your router and the ISP.
send us the "show ip eigrp nei" output.

Actually no. The neighbors appear to be working correctly. The show ip eigrp top has all routes in PASSIVE. I have about 5 3560s configured as stub.
This output is from the same switch as previous post....Cisco 4506

according to the message, the route in active is going through recomputation because the route is Active and your router is looking for another successor i think
07-22-2008 04:37 AM
It seems to be stuck though....any suggestions on how to fix this? Those routes seems to be working fine. I can ping remote devices on those vlans.

I issued a clear ip eigrp neighbor command and they all came back as passive. i'll keep an eye on it.

the router is waiting for an answer from router 10.0.2.25. you need to login to 10.0.2.25 to find out why it's not replying

I suggest you still check the config on the router i mentioned and also interface for any errors what might have caused it to stop send out replies

Hello Francisco,
very good link
Thanks

I agree, thank you. I ran some SHOW INTERFACES and noticed a lot of collisions on the trunk ports going to the ISP. I have emailed them. I'm set to AUTO but the ports are running at 10half and 100half. Probably try to force them all to full duplex. hopefully that is the problem. There were "interface resets" as well which would cause an re adjacency.
