require firewall, custom firewall using sophos

Has anyone implemented vpn on an ASA where you're requiring a firewall, and that firewall is Sophos Enpoint and Security Control? If so, how did you obtain your vendor and product ID? Is there a general ID for each, or must you contact your seller and get the info?

Hi Bill,

When you say "vpn" - What kind of VPN are you talking about.

a. Remote Access VPN

b. Anyconnect VPN Client

c. Cisco Secure Desktop

Which one is it?

In Cisco Secure Desktop on the Endpoint policy Assessment feature (license required for this feature), you should be able to check for Personal Firewall "Sophos Plc" version 1.x

Note: Cisco Secure Desktop can be used for only webvpn & Anyconnect client access.

Bill,

If it is Remote Access VPN you will not be able to do Endpoint assessment. Sorry!!

Endpoint assessment through Cisco Secure Desktop can be done only for WebVPN or Cisco Anyconnect Client.
