How to prevent resource misuse when IP Phone is physically moved

Hi,

Setup at Location A:

IP Phone Ext 111---CCM Cluster--Voice GW---PSTN

IP PHone 111 can call PSTN from Location A.

There are other phones at Location B registered to same CCM Cluster but those phones can't dial PSTN.

Now if someone physically moves IP Phone 111 to location B, the user can dial PSTN as usual.

Is there a way to prevent IP Phone 111 from making PSTN call when moved to location B without changing any config on CCM?

Thanks for your time.

Thanks,

you need to do some configuration if you want that, you would need to configure device mobility if you have 4.2(x) or 6.(x) to modify the CSS accordingly.

Does Location B have a voice GW present?

How is Location B connected to Location A?

We need more info to know what's possible and what's not.

Hi,

Thanks all for your time.

Location B and Location A are connected via MPLS. CCM Version 5.1.

I am still looking forward to know how can I meet this requirement.

thanks,
