CSM and Performance Monitor installation issue.

Unanswered Question
Jul 22nd, 2008

I installed CSM version 3.2 on a Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 2. The installation went fine.

I rebooted the Win2k3 server.

Next I installed Performance Monitor

package fcs-mcp-v32-w2k-k9.exe. It

went through the installation and I got

this message:

These files are currently being used by another

running process. You must stop all processes listed

below to proceed successfully with this installation.

Click Retry to verify that files are no longer in use

and that the installation may proceed. Click cancel

to abort.

C:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx\objects\db\win32\dbunic9.dll

How do I go about fixing this and install Performance

Monitor on top of the CSM on my Windows 2003 server.

I repeately rebooted the win2k3 server but still can

not install performance monitor.

Any ideas how to fix this anyone? Thanks.

I have this problem too.
