Backup DDR with line protocol UP on primary link.

I am using Cisco 1811 with v.92 internal modem. need to configure it as backup interface with line protocol UP of primary interface. How i can detect that last mile is down but my Ethernet connectivity to CPE is UP & connectivity from CPE and PE is down.

You should use object tracking with ip sla's to get this working.

It's not the easiest of configurations but it's specifically made to do what you want.

i want redundant links as well as load balance..

i want my link to be shifted even if line protocol on failed interface is down.. i did a research.. i think SLA with career track will work.. but i am unable to figure it out.. can you please help
