Collect Calls

Unanswered Question

Hi Everyone,

I've been told to look into call logs of certain users for Collect calls. So, when I logged into CDR to do some searching, I can hardly distinguish long distance calls from other calls.

Is there a way to know the prefixes for collect calls?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I have this problem too.

Hello Naveen,

You will need to configure the CDR dial-plan according to your CCM dial-plan; below you will find a link that explains how to set it up, if you have the CDR dialplan properly configure it will tag the calls as long distance, international, local, ... :

CDR: Configuring the Dial Plan: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/service/6_0_1/car/carsycfg.html#wp1092310

The "CDR Analysis and Reporting Administration Guide" will help you understand how the reports are generated (check the "Understanding Cisco Call Detail Records" section):

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/service/6_0_1/car/cmcarbk.html

Hope it helps!
