PGW2200-MGCP-2811-PBX

Hello all,

We have one-way calling situation. Calls originating from PBX fail when destined to any other endpoint.

To be more precise, when entering 0 (to get on the trunk) on the PBX phone there is an error message displayed 'Unallocated/unassigned number' and there are no MGCP traffic coming into MGC(see attach).

Meanwhile all calls originating from various others endpoints can be successful accomplished when called side is some of the PBX phones.

We do call tests with PBX and Cisco IP phones registered with CUCME on the same 2811 and configured appropriate PRI trunk works perfectly.

We think PRI backhauling is configured well, IPFAS also...

Can someone point us is there any catch we have missed?

Thank you in advance

Solved!

Solution is to add the following mml command

prov-add:sigsvcprop:name="ipfas-2811-pbx", ooverlap="1"

Thank you

there is some missed configuration,

try to add the following:

dial-peer voice 1 pots

incoming called-number .

direct-inward-dial

port ( voice-port number )

!

dial-peer voice 2 pots

destination-pattern 0T

port (voice-port number )

Thank you very much for the reply.

2811 is mgcp controlled GW and q931 is backhauled to PGW, so I think there are no need for dial peers cause all dial plans is on PGW. Am I right?

there is a need for the dialpeer on the MGCP gateway because the dialpeers ( if you can dialpeers) on the PGW is to put the calls on the lines and it is up to the MGCP getway to manipulate these calls.
