Greetings to all,
We have several WAAS devices that are currently being used as inline today and we are going to make the transision to using WCCP in the very near future. In our lab we have setup our test enviroment and everything is optimizing correctly no issues. However, we are getting a minor alarm about the inline ports being in bypass. Both ports are in shutdown with no cables connected. We are running 4.0.19.b.14 on a WAE-612. Has anyone else seen this before? It's not causing any issues from what I can tell, just trying to make sure that it's not.
Thanks,
Tom

Tom,
It's just a cosmetic issue, since we want to notify administrators when an inline group is in bypass operating mode.
Can you acknowledge the alarm?

Yes, we can and have acknowledged the alarms. There is a bug report for this out there and looks like (according to TAC) its going to be fixed in the next version of the OS to be released in Early August.
Thanks!
Tom
