I am adding a new vg224 to recently upgraded UCM 6.1 cluster. On the port configuration in UCM. I am seeing "Unattended Port", I have searched CCO and google for what does and how it functions. Can someone point me to the documentation that explains it other than "Check for an unattended port"

Hello Danny,
The "Unattended Port" is used when you have an application server connected to the other end such as a legacy voicemail system; it is used for out of dialog REFER processing. If checked it designates this port as a trunk connected to an application server.
This feature was implemented in order to avoid the cases where the REFERee and the REFER to target are both application servers.
Hope it helps!

Thanks for the reply, I have seen this reason before. I was hoping to find some documentation that pointed to this information.
Once again thanks for your response
