T1 CAS

I have a customer which has a requirement to link a Cisco VG (with CUCM 6.1) to a PBX and its connection type is T1 CAS to the PBX.

Which protocol supports T1 CAS?? H323 or MGCP??

Both. MGCP will support E&M wink and E&M delay-dial. If you need different T1 support I would stick with H323.

I would recommend PRI QSIG for PBX integrations if at all possible for the greatest feature set between PBX's.

Hi Jon,

The PBX brand is Zulty PBX, and i was told that it will support T1 CAS, but not sure if it will support QSIG.
