Hi There,
I tried to make a incoming dial-peer what matches a unknown number with my callmanager express router.
I have an FXO interface and this one is connected to a analoge provider line, however its not sending its own number over the line so i cannot match with the incoming dail-peer..
Does anyone have a solution for this?
Can i match every number that is coming inside..?
Thanks

try the following command in your incoming dial-peer
incoming called-number .
dont forget the dot
this will make what is called defaul- incomeing dial-peer
good luck

Hi,
I have an analoge line with number 0101234567
for example..
however this number is ending at 567 and my number internal is 100
so if we can match with the dot its not letting number 100 to ring
So thats wy i think we also need a translation-profile that is pointing the dot to 100
But..perhaps can you also give me the complete incoming dial-peer that would be great!
so the only thing i want to do is let the phone ring when someone is calling the external number.
hope you can help me..

the following config will take any number coming the port such as 0/0/1 ISDN and change the called number to 100
so if u have a dial-peer for a number 100
such as pots for analog phon or voip
the call will be forwarded to that dial-peer
Voice translation-rule 1
Rule 1 /.*/ /100/
Voice translation-profile profile1
Translated called 1
Dial-peer voice 9 pots
Incoming called-number .
direct-inward-dial
translation-profile incoming profile1
port 0/0/1
forward-digits all
but if you have FXO ( which your case FXO i think)
just put the following command under the FXO port
and it will forward the call to the number 100
voice-port 1/0/0
connection plar opx 100
PSTN calls arriving on the FXO port can now terminate on extension 100
(replace the port 1/0/0 with your own port )
any try it and let me know

focus on this one:
just put the following command under the FXO port
and it will forward the call to the number 100
voice-port 1/0/0
connection plar opx 100
PSTN calls arriving on the FXO port can now terminate on extension 100
(replace the port 1/0/0 with your own port )
dont forget to make pots dial-peer for ur analog phone such as
dial-peer voice 3 pots
destination-pattren 100
port 1/0/1
where the port is ur FXS analog phone port
let me know if its worked or not

Great!!!
The last config worked..
with the plax connection...
the dial-peer incoming didn't worked..
so this is then very easy with only one command...
however normally the dial-peer must work but then we need a number to match...but tis is great... thank you...

i confused first time
with FXO only the command i have given you work
but if u have trunk or an ISDN link then the incoming dial-peer condig should be use
any way i am glad its working
please Rate the helpful post
and good luck
