do a sh ver and check the IOS has "K9"

something like this....

Router#sh ver

You are running an IP Base image w/o security, thus no K9 for SSH support.

Hi. Can you advise on how i can download this image? Do i need a cisco cco id? Thks in advance.

You need cco id to download the IOS.

If you dont have a software contract,Your best bet may be to contact a Cisco sales rep and ask how you can obtain a licensed copy of the IOS you need
