Either do "show flash" or "dir" command

myPIX# dir

Directory of flash:/

9 -rw- 1088 18:26:17 Jun 26 2008 old_running.cfg

10 -rw- 659 18:26:18 Jun 26 2008 admin.cfg

11 -rw- 659 12:25:18 Jul 28 2008 my-adm-conf.cfg

12 -rw- 659 12:25:58 Jul 28 2008 C1.cfg

16128000 bytes total (16118272 bytes free)

Here the third column shows file size in bytes.

Hi,

Flash is full

Total bytes: 15998976

Bytes used: 15998976

Delete the old config files that you don't require.

Or otherwise run the command

"service compress-config" to compress the config files.

Thank you,

Could you confirm whether service compress config is available in PIX?

Sorry, it is not available on pix...

its only on Cisco router.

So only option left is to delete files :)

Yes, you are right.

Can you please help in the following.

How to fine configuration file size in PIX?

Either do "show flash" or "dir" command

myPIX# dir

Directory of flash:/

9 -rw- 1088 18:26:17 Jun 26 2008 old_running.cfg

10 -rw- 659 18:26:18 Jun 26 2008 admin.cfg

11 -rw- 659 12:25:18 Jul 28 2008 my-adm-conf.cfg

12 -rw- 659 12:25:58 Jul 28 2008 C1.cfg

16128000 bytes total (16118272 bytes free)

Here the third column shows file size in bytes.

is that command available on the access points, 1200 series.

try this command

" dir flash "

try this command

" dir flash "
