When to use the terminate step ?!

Hello,

I never know when to use the terminate step or not...

For example if I redirect a call, Must I put a terminate step in the sucessfully branch or not because the call is forwarded and so the script will be ended (because there is an end step after).

is it the same in IPCC than in CUE ?

The terminate step will hang up the CTI port (and release other resources within CRS). Use it only when you want the call to end.

If you are redirecting the call to another location (script or DN) use only the End step the release the resources for that application instance.
