PA -4T+ and back to back cables

Answered Question

I have two 7200 VXR series routers and am wanting to connect up the serial interfaces to each other in my lab.

Does anyone know off hand if the back to back cables work with the DB60 ports. Everywhere I go to order some of these cables list the 3400 and 2600 series routers but not the 7200 series.

Thanks,

I have this problem too.

The same cables will work. All they are doing is faking out a cable so it looks like you attached a real DCE to a real DTE cable without the connector in the middle. Since the real cables are not model dependant you should have no issues with back to back.
