Stacking Catalyst 3750 Swithes

Gents,

We have 3 ws-c3750G-24T-E in a stack and is it possible to add another switch ws-c3750G-24T-S (standard Image) to the existing stack with enhanced multilayer Image.

Switches with different Cisco IOS software versions likely have different stack protocol versions. Switches with different major version numbers are incompatible and cannot exist in the same switch stack.

Can you post the IOS Versions running on the stack & on the new switch so that we can give you a definitive answer.
