Since a flow direct to the server is not "load balanced" does it still count against the licensed bandwidth?

How does the ACE count access flows direct to the server(s) with regard to licensing?

If the flow goes through ACE, load balanced or not, it is counted against the licensed amount.

Thank you that answered my question.

How do you monitor how much licensed bandwidth you are using. I'm hoping for an explicit show command for definitive real-time license status. Or is it a basic estimation aggregating all the interfaces.

How does ACE internally measure licensed bandwidth?

I think what you are looking for is "show resource usage".
