no it doesn't you cannot do masking with this as far as I know, hence the translation profile, its dynamic.

I need it to be dynamic caller id;
e.g. 1234XXXX (to represent internal phone number)

under each dial-peer on the CME corresponding to your loca / LD / intl route use a translation pattern on the calling number.
voice-translation rule 1
rule 1 /\(1234\)/ /8099\1/ = 80991234
voice-translation profile CLID
translate calling 1
dial-peer voice 1000 pots
Description ***Long Distance***
destination-pattern 91[2-9]..[2-9]......
translation-profile outgoing CLID
port 0/0/0:23
forward digits 11
