Can anybody explain me how should the typical secretary/receptionist's
IP Phone be configured in terms of Communications Manager configuration ?
I mean the best practices of configuring DNs, Speed Dials or something else
for such kind of employee role. Let's imaging he/she has got 7961 terminal
with 2 (two) 7914 expansion modules.
Any advice will be highly appreciated.

In CCM 4.x this Presence "Like" config is really just Shared Lines and possibly an Intercom Feature;
Here is an example for a Secretary/Admin DN 5119 with one Manager with DN 5116
For Assistants Phone - 7961
Line Button 1 - Ext 5119
Line Button X (on 7914) - Ext 5116 (Set to Flash Only)
Line Button x+1 - Speeddial to Ext 4123 (Label Text Intercom xxxx)
For Managers Phone - 7941
Line Button 1 - Ext 5116
Line Button 3 - Ext 4123 (Label Text Intercom) **Set this to Auto Answer on Speakerphone**
