How to implement 5 digits outgoing dialing?

Call Manager 4.X

The customer have a lot of business contacts in DC area, so they want to speed the dialing. For example, most of their phone numbers in 202-313-XXXX range, so the user wants to dial 5-XXXX instead of 91-202-313-XXXX to reach their contacts.

How to configure the CallManager to apply this feature?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

You can use translation patters to do this...

Go to CCMadmin>Route Plan.>xlation pattern.

Click add a new xlation pattern.

In the xlation patter field enter 5XXXX.

In the partition fied add the appripriate partiton, make sure that the css of user phones can reach this partition.

In the CSS field enter the apripriate CSS. Make sure the CSS has access to the partition of the Xlation pattern

scroll down to Called party xformations.

In the called party xformation mask..enter the full number eg 91202313XXXX
