I have downloaded the "anyconnect-win-2.2.0133-pre-deploy-k9.msi" AnyConnect client to my machine. I am trying to run the install but keep getting the message:
"The system adminstrator has set policies to prevent this installation".
I also have the ASA to set up to automatically download and install the AnyConnect client. This works fine. But I can't install the stand alone client.
Anyone else had this problem?
Thanks.

I am on a domain. I've looked at the policy and don't see anything preventing the installation. I've checked the "DisableMSI" key in the registry. I've logged in as a domain admin, as a local admin and neither work.
I can install the normal IPSec client fine.
Thanks.

Solved my problem!!!! Turns out that there was a problem when I downloaded this version of the client. I redownloaded the client and everything works fine now.
Thanks.
