Hello folks

yesterday night I tried to upgrade the firmware of all my 7941s, however they are now down because every single screen on the phone says "file not found sccp 41.8-3-5s"

I went to device defaults and the fimware version is correct.

I uploaded the file to the server through the os administrator>software update and then, I went to device defaults and the fields changed for the sccp phones 7941 and 7961, however they are not getting the file from the server.

please help

Hi Cris,

It sounds like the Firmware files for CCM 4.X versions may have been used here. I believe the files for CCM 6.X should be different like .cop

Can you check on this :)

Hope this helps!

Rob

Hi Cris,

The problem seems to lie in the naming of the file;

"file not found sccp 41.8-3-5s"

Can you try (on one phone - via Device>Phone> Firmware Load Information>

Phone Load Name

Changing this to SCCP41.8-3-5 (all CAPS no spaces no "s"

Reboot the phone in question and see what happens.
