I have received the following message forn a 3750 Switch:10366: Jul 31 09:21:28.444: %SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host 00a0.f856.f438 in vlan 198 is flapping between port Fa2/0/21 and port Fa2/0/30

Please, any help on what it means and how it can be solved is highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

It is an indication that mac 00a0.f856.f438 is being learned on two different ports (Fa2/0/21 and Fa2/0/30). Trace down that mac address in order to determine if there is a loop or a misconfiguration.

garytayl is correct and based on the MAC address it is something from Symbol Technologies (Motorola). could be a switch or something else that is connected to two ports.
