Call Manager 4.1(3)SR7 issue with CSA& Extension mobility

Unanswered Question

Hi all,

after upgrading to SR7 and installing Cisco CSA we can no longer use Extension mobility.

We are using this version of CSA: CUCM-CSA-5.0.0.232-3.0.9-k9.exe

When CSA is deactivated it will work.

An active CSA throws up the following message:

Event Type: Error

Event Source: CSAgent

Event Category: Kernel Rule

Event ID: 256

Date: 7/31/2008

Time: 5:51:57 PM

User: N/A

Computer: UKGRETE-100-CCM

Description:

The process 'C:\Program Files\Cisco\Tomcat\bin\tomcat.exe' (as user UKGRETE-100-CCM\CCMServiceRW) attempted to access 'C:\Program Files\Cisco\Tomcat\work\Standalone\localhost\emapp\jsp\confirmLogout_jsp.class'. The attempted access was a write (operation = OPEN/CREATE). The operation was denied.

Any hints ?

I have this problem too.

There are a couple of things you can do it seems:

1) open the CSA window and clear all cached responses; then be logged into the console when the process is denied and CSA should prompt you to either 'allow or deny' it. You can allow it and it should stay marked as allowed.

2) update your CSA profile to include the process that is being denied.

(this requires a full CSA environment, not just the CSA runtime as CCMs have)

3) rollback to a previous CSA version.

Please see the following links for more info on altering CSA operation:

I cannot find any bugs about EM & CSA 5.0 but still searching...will post if I find any.
