WCS email alerts

Hello,

Recently I removed my email address from the WCS email alerts. However the WCS continues to email me. Has anyone else run into this?

yes. I was not able to clear it either. It appeared to be a stale entry in the solid db. I am not familiar with solid db syntax so I did not go digging.

My fix was to remove WCS and re-install it from scratch, which was OK because I have been wanting to redo the maps anyway...

On our Linux WCS server, I was able to grep for my name ( as part of the email address)

[root@wcs-svr WCS4.2.97.0]# !481

grep -r 'eric.garnel' *

Binary file webnms/db/eval_kit/standalone/solid.db matches

The path is interesting given the fact that this is a licensed copy!

Very interesting. Ours is a windows server so apparently this is a problem with both versions. Greatly appreciate your reply.
