MLPPP Question

Hi,

Our provider cannot provide us an ethernet access connection for one of our existing site. He propose us to start with 2 x E1 in MLPPP.

I would like to know if there are some limitation using MLPPP?

Also, we have a CISCO2801 in that site, and plan to install a VWIC-2MFT-G703 card in it. Is MLPPP supported with that card/router?

Thank you,

Marc.

Based on what you have told us so far I would think that MLPPP would be a good solution. MLPPP is certainly supported on the 2801 router. I have not used MLPPP on that particular card, but I would be confident that it does support MLPPP.

Marc,

There are no real limitations you should see with a simple MLPPP setup like this. Yes, you should be able to use the VWIC-2MFT card with no issues. The router shouldn't have any issues either as far as I know.
