on my home 2651 I have IPv6 running but just out of curiosity I tried telneting to one of my home router's IPv6 addresses and it worked
but I have acls limiting telnet to 10.0.0.0/24 so ho do I make an acl for ipv6?

Hi, You have to create an IPv6 ACL and apply it to the VTY.
