How to input 91 in the front of the calling number for incound call

CCM use mgcp with gateway, I hope to add a PSTN access code(90) in the front of the calling number when inbound call, this can make agent dial back call easily.

I tried to use translation rule in VG , and put this rule in each E1 voice port, whereas, the calling number still miss 91 in the front.

I'm wondering whether translation-rule is avaliable in mgcp mode? If we can use it with MGCP, any one who can gice me some config template??

And whether Translation Pattern in CCM can reach this goal, seems that this feature only is used for called number translation.

Am I right? If i'm wrong, aLso pls tell me how to make it.

Thanks

Hello which version of call manager are you running.

Please see this documents, if you are running call manager 3.3(SR1) and later, it is easy otherwise you have to use translation patterns.

Thanks sir.

Only one question as below,

As you know, the digit of E.164 number is variable, so can i use '91T' instead of '91XXXXXXXXXX', or how to handle it?

Thanks Sir, I made it.

One another question,

how to transfer the DID number instead of the PRI trunk number for calling number when making outbound call?

In my environment when outbond call, the ANI (calling number)is trunk number which can't match users' requirement.

I only know this issue is some relatived with parameter 'national/international/unknown etc., but have no idea how to config it in both h323 GW and MGCP gw and CCM?

Your advice may be appreciated....

on CCM

go to the route-pattren that go to the PSTN

or outside

then go down to the calling number transformation mask

ther u can put for example ur company number or wat ever number shoud apear

like 01234567

this apply to MGCP

also u can do the same idea but on the gat way level

if u have route -lis and the route list conatin a route group

each route groupe contain gateways

on the route group level also u can do the same

in ur case keep it simple and do it on the route pattren

calling (not called)

with h323 u can do it with translation-profile

with FXO u can do it with a comman on the port it self

network-id then the number

good luck

Thanks sir. Full points for your kindness.

I'm sorry my poor description make your miss understand.

I meant I want to transfer my DID number as outbound caller number instead of PRI trunk number.

Such as, RPI trunk number is 88540000 with 3000 DID numnber, between 88540000 to 88542999, currently, when customer with ext. 8854-1234 make outbound call, the calling number is 88540000, I just want to use 88541234 instead.

I want to learn how to make it under H323 GW, MGCP GW and CCM? WOuld u pls give me some deatil CLI? Thanks

in h323:

voice translation-rule 1

/ / /8854..../

the voice translation-profile outcalling

translate calling 1

dial-peer voice 1 pots

detination-pattren .T

translation-profile outgoing outcalling

port 1/0/1

in mgcp should be don in ccm

in ccm

u can do as i told inthe previus post but

instead of puting the whole number

put is as follow and this is upon the numbereing u sent me

in the touter-pattren that goung to the pri

go to calling number transformation mask

put

8854XXXX

or u can put this mask (8854XXXX)

on each phone seeting in its in the phon calling number mask in the phon setting

and on the route pattren check the check box use the phon outside calling mask

good luck

and please, rate if helpful

and thanks for prevous rates

if u have any questions just post here

regarding ur reuirement to make DID for the calling number

as mentioned above for CCM and MGCP u do on the CCM as i told u

but about the H323 ignore the commands above not right!! i just tested this one for u

as follow

H323

voice translation-rule 1

rule 1 /\(....\)/ /8854\1/

the voice translation-profile outcalling

translate calling 1

dial-peer voice 1 pots

detination-pattren .T

translation-profile outgoing outcalling

port 1/0/1

this is the testing command

Router#test voice translation-rule 1 1234

Matched with rule 1

Original number: 1234 Translated number: 88541234

Original number type: none Translated number type: none

Original number plan: none Translated number plan: none

but based on the above config of u wanna to the config on an H323 gateway u dont have to make any change on the CCM

good luck

and thansk for ur rating

Thanks Sir. I have another 3 question about Caller System Transfer and User System Transfer in Unity COnnection need your kindly help.

I encoutered some trouble when testing User System Transfer in Unity Connection.

I have configured a restriction which deny 90 and permit *. And assign this restriction to COS-Deby90, also assign this COS to user-TOM.

But it seems it can't match my requirement.

I setup a Openning Greeting with input 9 to Caller System Transfer.

Now when user get through to this CH and press 9, and input TOM's user-id and passwd, he still can call 90xxxxxx.

What's wrong?

Another question pertaining to this, the transfered cal almost need to waiting much more time to be transfered, because the symbol '#' in unity connection just means the end the command rather than the end of the number, SO how can I transfer the call as soon as possible in UnityConnection.

Another question about Caller System Testing.

In openning greeting , i configured input 9 for Caller System Transfer. But when user input 9 and input the called number, the prompts 'not be transfered to this number' was received. And not only to call PSTN number and also to call the extension in CCM (also in UnityConnection) , I'm sure both the css and PT are OK. What's wrong?
