Bandwidth Optmization of 3550 L2 port

I have a 3550 switch, onthe 27th port with is and l2 port my service provider is terminating its router. Since the permination point an my end is L2 switch so i m not been able to use Mrtg or PRTG to monitor the traffic is there any way to do that , just want to check utilization of this L2 port.

Hi!

To use MRTG o PRTG or any snmp based graph tool your switch must have a L3 interface , you need a interface vlan .

Config sample:

Your mrtg/prtg must be on the same segment of vlan1 address.

interface Vlan1

192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0
