help needed for CCSP certification

Hi Group,

Myself Jigar, I have completed CCNA exam this 9 June 2008 and start preparig of SNPA exam now my 90% preparation has finished so should I able to give SNPA exam or I have to pass CCNA Security again as per change in the course of CCSP.please provide me help on this as I am very confused now.

what to do ?

Hi Jigar,


As long as you take the SND exam before November 17, 2008, you will still be eligible to complete the CCSP certification. The current requirement is:


CCNA Security

OR

CCNA + SND*

*SND last day to test is November 17, 2008.


Also, the exam requirements will change a bit, depending on what path you take:


Candidates for CCSP will now need only four exams (three required, one elective) with the introduction of the new CCNA Security as a prerequisite, instead of the five exams required today (four required, one elective). ** Retired exams that have been passed may be used towards exam requirements for three years.
