Hi I configured natting for the dmz server to access from inside interface...

let say my dmz server ip is 172.80.50.20 and configure a local natted ip as 10.80.60.20. after i enabled the natting i am not able to access the server using dmz ip( 172.80.50.20) but i can able to access through 10.80.60.20. I am using ASA5510. In the pix firewall 525, the same configuration works well...i mean that i can access both the nated ip 10.80.60.20 and dmz ip 172.80.50.20 as well... I want to know that this feature disabled in ASA...? .Pls advise..thanks

Hi Hajasheriff,

please It will be beneficial to understand if you provide actual command executed on ASA as well as PIX,

Thanks

From which zone are you trying to access the IPs? Also can you give more details about your setup. There is no such difference between the ASA and PIX, this is definitely a configuration issue.
