IP phone discovery and NetManager

Hi,

what I have to configure for discovery IP phones in my network. Have I to configure SNMP on the CCM? Thank you.

To perform network management, we can use CISCO-CCM-MIB to get provisioning and statistical information about Cisco Call Manager, its associated devices (e.g. IP phones and gateways), and its configuration

Hi Friend,

I need your help in this...

I have CCM 7.1.2 & Netmanager 1.1....Kindly find the issues:

1. CCM is being discovered as HOST where as it should be discovered as Communication Manager.

2. IP Phones are not getting discovered automatically.

3. I discovered the Phones manually but i am unable to monitor the status of the phones.

4. After acknowledging the events still there are RED indinations of the events.

Kindly help me friend.

Hello, I have the same issue with netmanager 1.1 and CCM5.1. Has anybody solved it?

I have the SNMP service running under Windows XP netManager Server, as it is explained in the document you linked before.
