strange problem with 7940/60s on CM 3.3

I've got a customer on CM 3.3 and certain phones are exhibiting the following problem they are a mix of different phone types (7940/60) “randomly while on a phone call you hear a couple of beeps and then it goes to a dial tone and you can't call out or call in for about 5 minutes”

Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Thanks in advance!

that's a strange one... I bet TAC will tell you to upgrade to 4.1(3), or 5.x/6.x..

Do you see anything in the traces? Or even in the event log on the subscriber, there is a cause code on the device unregistration event that might get you going in the right direction.

good luck!!

I think the first thing TAC will tell you to do is to check your SDL logs. That is where I would start, and see exactly what is happening with the calls/Phones. You said “call out or call in” so is this only happening for off-net calls?
