Hello All,

This is my first post.

We are running Unified Manager 6.0.1.

We are moving to a new location so the DID numbers have changed. 408-328-xxxx to 408-654-xxxx

What changes are required in the call manager system and routers .

Thanks in advance.

if you're using only 4 digits for DNs then there is really nothing to change on CUCM, if using more digits then you will need to change the appropriate numbers

depending on whether you have MGCP or H323 the config might change, if using H323 then you will need to verify the dial-peers do not contain any old number when migrating to the new set of DIDs

If the last 4 digits are the same, you're dial plan will NOT change. You will need to update your External Masks on each line to reflect the new prefix. The easiest way to do this is to Bulk Administration on the Publisher. You can select all lines, update External Mask, and add in 408-654-xxxx. Run the job and it will update all lines in the system.

If you have any h323 routers, these will also need to be updated as well. (depending on the dial peers, etc)

If you have any custom translations dealing with 408-328-xxxx you will need to update this as well.

If you have any Route Patterns or Dialing Rules, Application Dialing Rules, etc, check these.

You could also check the Dial Plan report, enter in the 408-328 (anything that starts) and see if there are others in the system.

hope this helps
