I have been tasked with research into some billing solutions and was wondering if anyone knows of a decent billing system that would work for a large scale, high density wireless network. The system needs to have some level of fault tolerance and be able to handle gigabit+ speeds. A Linux based system would be a plus too.
Thanks,
Eric

I've heard rumours that the Guest NAC appliance may fulfil this role.

The product page does not indicate that it supports billing. Also, is it built on top of windows 2000 like the bbsm? I wound up wiping our bbsm appliances and loading pfsense on them which works much better.
I do like the features of the guest NAC appliance though
