cool
vpn client is a vpn software client that is already insstaled on the client computer
while anyconnect client is also a vpn client but it is insstaled after the client make a vpn connection through a web brouser such internet explorer after that the client will be downloaded and the user can use it after the termination of vpn connection the client will be uninstalled
so the user dose not need to install any client softare all they need web brouser

Thanks for your prompt response. Both VPN client and AnyConnect Client require user name and password. Which method do you prefer? Is VPN client more secure than AnyConnect client?
Are there any other methods that will NOT require user name and password? We have 1000 users. With 1000 users, we need to create 1000 names and passwords. But, then we also need the data encrypted when the users connect through VPN. After connecting through VPN, the users will open the software emulation and type the username and password to get to the payroll system at the Corporate office. The users are complaining that they have to type the user name and password twice: one for VPN and one for payroll system. Thanks.

i sugest anyconnect
because
first u dont need to install any software especially u said u have 1000 user
also for one time login it should be kind of integration between database login if u use the same loging for both there is somthing called SSO single sign on which is available with anyconnect
and from security prespictive both secure enough..
good luck

Marwan,
So, if I have 1000 concurrent users, I will need 1000 licenses. Is this how the licenses work?
Thanks.

Currently,
Anyconnect = SSL
VPN Client = IPSEC

Thanks for your prompt response.
Have you used both clients? Do you prefer one over the other? Is AnyConnect client as secured as IPSEC?
Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
