please how do i configure my cisco router to be sending SNMP traps to my monitoring software OMNIVISTA

access-list 1 permit 10.10.10.10
snmp-server trap-source loopback0
snmp-server community xxxxxx RO 1
snmp-server enable traps snmp authentication linkdown linkup coldstart warmstart
you can add more to the snmp traps

configuring the access list and the snmp-server community are needed for the SNMP server to poll the router but are not necessarily needed to send traps. The other thing that is necessary to configure is:
snmp-server host

Yes, I forgot to add the snmp-server there :-). And yes, the ACL is not needed but I used :-)
