Here are some sample commands:

snmp-server host [snmp mgr ip]

snmp-server enable traps envmon

snmp-server enable traps bgp

snmp-server enable traps entity

Here are some useful but optional commands:

snmp-server ifindex persist

snmp-server trap-source Loopback0

snmp-server location Data Center

snmp-server chassis-id FTX0123456

snmp-server community YOUCOMM RO

There are other options as well and you can find them in the IOS configuration guides.

Hope that helps.
