SSL Module cuestion

Hello!

We are planning an IOS up-grade for a Cat6500 (SUP720).

Installed on chassis, we have a SSL Module with a ssl-proxi service, trustpoint and certs loaded.

Is there any risk to loose some or all SSL Module configuration (certs included)?

Do you know any other special procedure (other than simple "reload" or power supply off), with the SSL Module present on chassis?

Thanks in advance...

Pedro

Pedro,

the SSL module keeps its config and cert/keys onboard. So, upgrading the IOS on the Sup720 will not affect the SSLM.

Just make sure the new IOS supports the SSLM.

Gilles.

Thanks for your help Gilles...

We made the up-grade last weekend, and the switch and services are working ok.

Best Regards

Pedro
