PIX 515 Url filtering

Hello all,

I apologize if I open a topic that had already been discussed,but I would need to know if the PIX 515 with 6.3 ver is capable of doing some basic url filtering such as youtube.com and yahoo.com .

And if not what would be a suitable solution without having installed a proxy server or upgrading the pix to ASA.

Without the options of either installing proxy/ upgrading PIX to ASA ...

--- Upgrade the IOS on your PIX to 7.2,

so that you can use MPF for basic filtering.

Hi,

It is also possible with 6.3 to do url filtering but it requires an external server like Websense, which I see doesn't fullfill your requirement :)
