3845 Router w/ SDM Password Lockout

Hi,

I have a 3845 router with SDM installed that allows only one-time use of "cisco" as username and password. Unfortunately, I didn't get to change the username and password prior to logging out. Is there another username/password I can use to regain access?

Thanks.

if you don't save the new configuration to the NVRAM, the username will reappear after the router reload...

if you save the configuration... you need use Password Recovery Procedure ..

So if I reload the router, I should be able to use "cisco" again for both username/password?

Yes but only if you don't save the configuration..
